About

From landscapes to interfaces.

I'm Carine — a product designer who spent her first career designing landscapes, and brings that discipline to digital products.

Landscape architecture is systems design at one-to-one scale: sun, water, soil, budgets, and thousands of daily users who never read a manual. Shaping public spaces taught me to research how people actually behave, to design for years of use rather than a launch day, and to hold onto intent through endless real-world constraints.

The turn toward product design began when [TODO: the real moment — the project, tool, or itch that pulled her toward digital]. I retrained through [TODO: course / program / self-directed path], and found the same satisfaction in flows and interfaces that I'd found in site plans: structure that quietly serves people.

Today I'm looking for a product team where research matters and craft is non-negotiable. The medium changed; my questions didn't — who is this for, and how will it hold up in real life?
